BY AIR: Airports at Exeter (15 km), Bristol (120 km), and Plymouth (80 km). Approximate road distances from Crediton are in brackets. Taxis and car hire available at all three. All three airports cater for non-scheduled flights.

BY RAIL: First get to Exeter. Depending on branch line train availability, either take the Tarka Line to Crediton, or get a bus or taxi to Crediton.

BY BUS: National Express coach to Exeter Bus Station. Then a Stagecoach 50 bus to Crediton (every half hour). Ask to get off at Lloyds Bank. Several other bus services operate between Exeter and Crediton, including Turners 374.

BY ROAD: A377 from Exeter. If travelling down the M5 it is quicker to turn off at Junction 27 and take the North Devon Link Road, A361(T), towards Tiverton. Near Tiverton, take signs for Crediton, Exeter and Bickleigh. This will put you onto the A396 running south down the Exe Valley for a few miles. At Bickleigh turn right onto the A3072 which will take you over the hills to Crediton. See Crediton Street Plan below for location of COASTAL RESEARCH.
