COASTAL RESEARCH has written much of the technical software it uses for its work. We can construct software for a variety of purposes including:
 - Numerical simulation of environmental processes (including DyGeo derivatives)
 - Specific and extensible Data Browsers and data entry applications involving geo-indexing, e.g. cmiar
 - Data encryption (ideosyncratic)
 - Text data formatters and converters
 - Co-ordinate transformation
 - Applications involving GPS receivers

We specialise in software that works with ASCII text data. This means that our systems can be made rapidly independent of Operating Systems and expensive applications. Thus systems can survive market changes with minimal cost and no loss of data.
